Early-Bird Registrations Double for ARA's 71st Annual Convention and Exposition

MANASSAS, VA – The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) announced today that Early-Bird registration levels for the 71st Annual Convention, taking place October 22-25 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, are more than double what they were for last year's Convention and on pace to make the 71st Annual Convention one of the best attended in recent Association history.

"ARA's Annual Convention and Expo consistently draws automotive recycling facility owners and managers, industry experts, auction dealers, insurance executives, rebuilders, body shop personnel, collision repairers, scrap dealers and the media," said CEO, Michael Wilson. "The record number of registrants so far demonstrates the value that ARA members and the automotive repair community see in attending this annual industry event."

"We are excited to offer a robust and cutting-edge educational program," added ARA President, Ed MacDonald. "Seminars and trainings are focused on seven key areas: business management, future technology, operations, profitability, salesmanship, sustainability, and global perspectives. When combined with the over 100 automotive industry exhibitors and exciting networking events planned, this year's Annual Convention is truly a one-stop shop for business owners, employees, suppliers and vendors."

Other highlights planned include tours of Nissan North America's manufacturing plant in Smyrna, Tennessee and the opportunity to visit a professional automotive recycling facility at Express Auto Recyclers, an ARA member business located in LaVergne, Tennessee.

Online registration for ARA's 71st Annual Convention and Expo is available at www.araexpo.org until October 13 and on-site registration will be available at the Gaylord throughout the event.

Since 1943, the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) represents an industry dedicated to the efficient removal and reuse of “green” automotive parts, and the proper recycling of inoperable motor vehicles. ARA represents the interests of over 4,500 auto recycling facilities in the United States and fourteen other countries around the world. With programs such as the Certified Automotive Recycler Program (CAR), Green Recycled Parts, and other partnerships, ARA members continue to provide consumers with quality, low-cost alternatives for vehicle replacement parts, while preserving our environment for a “greener” tomorrow.
