These new resources offered through ARAU, represent yet one more resource that ARA is offering members so that they can provide employees with the knowledge about how to work smart and utilize best safety and health practices to protect themselves, their work site and the environment. In addition to establishing these OSHA 30HR General Industry courses, ARA is launching a new Safety Committee which will complement ARAU's formal training resources by reviewing recent OSHA activity at automotive recycling facilities and developing safety alerts on compliance issues that have been identified as areas of concern by OSHA.
Further, recently ARA has partnered with OSHA experts at Wells Fargo Insurance Services to develop webinars to educate members on how best to prevent the incidence of OSHA inspections as well as to how to manage and reduce any consequent penalties levied in response to an OSHA inspection. Please join us for the first of these webinars - which is FREE and will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm EST. Click here for the call-in information.
Through these targeted educational and communciation efforts, ARAU and ARA continue to promote safe and healthy workplaces.
